Composite Retail Group grows

In recent times Flooring First, and the Composite Retail Group of which it is part, have undergone radical changes. Under new CEO Ian Caulfield, the Composite Retail Group has amalgamated with provincial Furniture Court Group and now many members of the Flooring First Group who left to join franchises are also heading back to join the group.

Under the new management of Terry Thomson, the Flooring First group has a new look, has embarked on effective new promotional strategies and has exclusive new product ranges. Thomson says that, as a co-operative, his members do business at a fraction of the cost of a franchise – without the costs or dictates of how stores should operate.
